After working hard for about 6 years with my events Covid19 came early in March and changed all the plans I had.

Virtual events became the order of the day. During this difficult time, I had to think differently about how we go about hosting our events.

The Vines Club was an idea that I had early in the year by introducing the patrons to an APP that would have rewarded them with discounts, specials, points and stamps for participating in my events. Covid19 put a dead stop to this as all our events where and are still canceled.

Not sure with when we will be able to host events as we did, I decided to relaunch The Vines Club as a Social Club with all the benefits that the app would have had.

As a member of The Vines Social Club you will have access to the following:

– Two social runs/walks every month. Venues and distances will be confirmed in time for you to make your decision on where you would like to join us.

– Discounts on longer 2 to 5-day breakaways to run/walk at unique venues.

– Discounts, specials, rewards, stamps and points at Wine Estates, Merchandise Retailers, Lifestyle Adventure Activities, Craft Beer and lots more.

– Discounts on our virtual Taste and Dine The Vines from different world class Wine Estates.

Cost – R250 per month. Signed yearly debit order.

The Vines Club will launch on the 1st of September 2020 with the following social gatherings taking place at stunning venues:

12 September – Wildeberg Wines – Opening of a new 5km trail for runners and hikers that was completed in August 2020. Only 50 patrons per day will be able to join us for a special experience with good food and wine at Wildeberg. R50 permit fee for trails is included.

19 September –  Olsen Wines – 5, 10 and 17km Trails, Boerewors Rolls available. Olsen Wine with winemaker Arrie!!

24 September  –  Vrede en Lust Wine Estate  –  Heritage Day – 5, 10 or 15km Trails. Eat at Lust Restaurant. Virtual Gormet Braai with Chef Casper.

26 September – De Wet Cellar Worcester  –  Short, medium and long distance trails to choose from. Distances to be confirmed. Food with Chef Daniel and good De Wet Cellar Wine.

2 October  –  Wildeberg Wines Franschhoek.

17 and 18 October  –  Doolhof Wines Wellington

31 Oct and 1 November  –  Scout Farm Wellington

14 and 15 November  –  Wildeberg Wines Franschhoek

28 and 29 November  –  Bainskloof Wellington.

December and January 2021 to be confirmed soon.

Virtual Dine and Taste The Vines will also be hosted at De Wet Cellar, Perdeberg Wines, Olsen Private Vineyards, Mellasat Wines and more during Sept, Oct and November. Club members will qualify for discounted rates.
